Shawford Group was founded in 2018 by Alex Sawford and Karl Shaw, bringing together decades of trade craft into a single specialist contractor. What began as Shawford Interiors, focused on drylining, ceilings and partitions for main contractors and developers, has since grown into six specialist divisions, each a specialist in its own right.
Commercial interiors, new build housing, fire stopping, fire doors, joinery and developments share one commercial backbone. Main contractors and developers get a single point of contact across the packages that historically came from six different subcontractors: aligned programmes, consistent QA, and the commercial efficiency that comes from coordinated mobilisation.
Based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, the Group delivers UK-wide for blue-chip clients including BT, Rolls-Royce, Porsche and BMW, working across commercial fit-out, healthcare, education, residential and high-occupancy buildings, wherever specialist construction delivery is needed.
