Shawford Group is the name used for six specialist construction divisions: Interiors, New Build Housing, Fire Stopping, Fire Doors, Joinery and Developments. This website is operated by Shawford Interiors Limited. Enquiries submitted through this website are received and handled centrally, then passed to the right division.
Who is responsible for your data
Shawford Interiors Limited is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. That means we decide why your data is collected and how it is used. Shawford Interiors Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 11655915. Our registered office is 21 Aspen Court, Bessemer Way, Rotherham, England, S60 1FB.

What we collect
We collect the information you give us through our contact forms. Depending on the form, this can include your name, email address, company, role, the division your enquiry is for, project details (such as the project name, location, sector, value range and programme), your message, and any files you upload, such as drawings.
We do not use website analytics and this website does not set cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP address) for security and reliability, as any web host does.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to pass it to the right division, and to prepare a quotation or proposal if you ask for one. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Where your enquiry is about work you want us to do, we also process your data to take steps you have asked for before a contract.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we do not use automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and deliver your enquiry to us. They process your data only on our instructions:
- Vercel, which hosts this website and stores files you upload.
- Resend, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email.
- Microsoft, which provides our email service (Microsoft 365).
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data can be processed outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards in each provider's data processing terms.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions, and any files uploaded with them, for as long as we need to answer your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence. This is typically up to 24 months. If your enquiry becomes a contract, we keep the related records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. You can also object to how we use it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy in a format you can pass to someone else. Email info@shawfordinteriors.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection. You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would ask you to raise it with us first so we have the chance to put it right.
